Tender Description
Regrade of gravel roads, remediation of Lead Contamination at Firing Range and implementation of Fire Management Plan.
Works at Fort Direction Camp include (but are not limited to):
* Provision of a new gravelled car park area, regrade gravel driveway and repair & top up gravel road (150m long approximate); and
* Retrofit all openings and aperture of six buildings to achieve the required ember protection level.
Works at Buckland Military Training Area include (but are not limited to):
* Regrade the existing gravel road, reshape and regrade the existing open drainage channels, clean out existing culvert crossings; and weed, grass and vegetation control (3.5Km approximate);
* Excavation and the mechanical separation of stop butts at the Buckland Firing Range, disposal of Class 3 contaminated soil and replacement with a clean fill and reinstate turf surface; and
* Fire Management Plan implementation works which involves slashing/ploughing of fire break areas and weed management for a distance of approximately 12km. Provide a 6m wide fire break for an approximate distance of 20km.
