Auctioneer Urandangie Land Sale

⁠⁠⁠Quotations, suitably endorsed will be received up until 4pm on Friday 28th August 2015 for an auctioneer to conduct the Council’s Sale of Land for overdue rates in Urandangie on a date and at a time to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Background: The Council has served notice on 11 property owners in Urandangie of its intention to sell land for rates outstanding and in most cases the properties to be sold are vacant with title ownership being deceased estates. It is hoped that the sales will result in clear title for the land being established with a living, rateable owner.

The Act requires the Council to engage a licensed real estate auctioneer registered in Qld to conduct the sale and accordingly eligible auctioneers are invited to quote for the task.

Council has obtained confidential valuation reports, details of which will be used to inform the auctioneer and to establish the reserve price, properties not sold will be dealt with by Council.

Council will have available for the auction contracts of sale and the auctioneer’s task will be to travel to Urandangie to conduct the auction, together with any other tasks that can only be undertaken by a licensed auctioneer.

The proposal should nominate a preferred date and time for the conduct of the auction in the period from September 21st to October 19th, 2015.

Fee Proposal: Council will determine the successful applicant on the basis of the auctioneers experience, fee proposed and convenience of the time and date for auction. The fee must include all commissions, cost and expenses relative to travel to Urandangie and conducting the sale.
