Tender Description
Waverley Council invites tenders for the design and construction of Waverley Park Synthetic Field. This project is in response to the Waverley Recreation Needs Study (2008), which recommends Council implement a strategy to increase the use of and access to active playing fields by implementing a range of sport-specific additions and improvements to fields.
This project is also being delivered in line with the Waverley Park Plan of Management, which was endorsed by Council in 2012.
Works at Waverley Park will include earthworks, sub-base and drainage, synthetic surface and line marking, lighting and security measures, perimeter fence, goal posts, nets, coaches boxes and associated fixtures, pedestrian and vehicle access paths and gates, signage and spectator areas.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-tender meeting on 31 July at 1:00pm at Waverley Park, Field 2.
