Cessnock, Maitland and Singleton Councils are seeking to engage a Contractor to receive and process Organics and to market the resulting Beneficial Product for a Contract Term of fourteen (14) years.
For the first seven (7) Contract Years, the Contractor will be required to receive and process Garden Organics only. The Councils' Organics Collection Contractor will collect the Garden Organics from kerbside Organics MGBs and from the Councils' Waste Management Centres and transport them to the Contractor's Organics Processing Facility.
From the commencement of the eighth Contract Year to the Contract Expiry Date, the Contractor will be required to receive and process Garden and Food Organics. The Councils' Organics Collection Contractor will collect Garden and Food Organics from kerbside Organics MGBs and Garden Organics from the Councils' Waste Management Centres and transport them to the Contractor's Organics Processing Facility.
The Contractor will be required to market the Beneficial Product derived from the Organics delivered to the Organics Processing Facility by the Organics Collection Contractor.
