Naracoorte Lucindale Council invites tenders for the upgrade of stormwater draininage in the Naracoorte CBD.
Naracoorte’s drainage system is ageing and with significant development since the system was installed, is now inadequate to cater for even moderate rainfall events, resulting in businesses and Council infrastructure being inundated. Council has completed studies of the town and has plans for a system that caters for the current level of development plus future expansion. The project will be delivered over multiple years with the second section being Robertson Street and Smith Street/Jones Street intersection to Rolland/Hinckley Streets to be constructed as Stage Two in 2015/16.
