2015 - Sydney New Year's Eve Harbour of Light Parade

⁠⁠⁠THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SYDNEY ('Council') invites EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST for entry into the 2015 Sydney New Year's Eve Harbour of Light Parade in accordance with this request.

The Harbour of Light Parade is one of the most anticipated spectacles of the annual Sydney New Year's Eve event. Vessels decorated in rope light entertain and delight spectators gathered on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour between the 9pm Family and Midnight Fireworks Displays. Entry into the 2015 Harbour of Light Parade is via a competitive bidding process which is open to all commercial vessels, and vessels operated by not-for-profit enterprises. Respondents will be competing for up to sixty (60) available positions in the 2015 Parade.

The successful and safe operation of the Harbour of Light Parade is of utmost importance. The evaluation of bids will focus on identifying organisations and vessels that meet the operational requirements to participate safely, and vessels that will be decorated to a high standard.

Successful respondents will be invited to participate in the 2015 Parade from approximately 8:00pm on 31 December 2015, sailing within the Event Exclusion Zone on Sydney Harbour.
