University of Canberra (UC) is a public university located on 118 hectares in Bruce, a north-western suburb of Canberra within easy reach of shopping and entertainment venues in the Belconnen Town Centre and the Civic centre.
UC aims to be amongst the world's leading universities in research, teaching and learning for responsible public administration and services.
The academic structure of UC comprises four faculties (Arts and Design; Business, Government & Law; Education, Science, Technology andMathematics; and Health) and three research centres; the Institute for Applied Ecology (IAE); Institute for Governance and Policy Analysis (UC-IGPA), and UC Research Institute for Sport and Exercise (UC-RISE)).
Estate Management is undertaking backlog capital replacements in 2015 in line with UC's strategic plan and plans to execute the upgrades to obsolete Fire Services throughout its older buildings.
UC is seeking submissions from suitably qualified organisations for the Provision of Services for the upgrade of Building 5 FIP & BOWS and replacement of the FIP in Building 15 and 19.
There will be an opportunity for a site inspection at 2:00pm Monday 20th July 2015. Respondents are requested to advise the contact officer if they wish to attend (refer details below).
