The State Government of Western Australia announced on 25 June 2015 its intention to sell the combined assets including the freehold land and operations of Perth Market Authority (collectively referred to as "Market City") The State is now calling for Expressions of Interest to acquire Market City and continue the operation of Western Australia's only wholesale fruit and vegetable market.
