Guildford Library, Railway Terrace Guildford, Alterations and Additions

⁠⁠⁠Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified building contractors for alterations and additions to an existing library building at Railway Terrace, Guildford. The project involves the construction of a new multi-purpose room (approx. 32 m2).

The new building addition consists of reinforced concrete footings, timber floor and supports, brick veneer walls, half height glazing to the multi-purpose room, timber roof structure and metal roof sheeting.

The works include all required electrical and data to the new multi-purpose room and the extension of these services to connect to the existing systems.

The works under the contract shall include the provision of all labour, supervision, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, plant, transportation and services required to complete the works.

A final decision will not be made regarding this Tender until the end of September 2015, with works anticipated to commence November 2015.

No pre-tender meeting is proposed, however it is recommended that prospective Tenderers visit the project site to confirm 'scope of work', and if questions arise submit these via the Tenderlink forum or to tenders@parracity.nsw.gov.au
