Sale of Fire Affected Karri

⁠⁠⁠In February 2015, a wild fire affected 12,000 hectares of State Forest containing predominantly Karri of various stages of growth and quality, located approximately 55km south of Manjimup. Of this area approximately 3,000 hectares requires salvage and regeneration.

Under this Request for Proposal, the Forest Products Commission is inviting offers from suitably equipped, experienced and financially sound buyers to purchase up to 210,000 tonnes of wildfire affected Karri logs.

Please note that the draft Contract documents (Appendix B) are not yet available. The Forest Products Commission expects the draft Contracts to be available by the date of the Mandatory briefing, on 23 June 2015.
