Tender Description
Scope of Supply:
Synthetic resin-bonded beech veneers or similar, joined together by thermosetting synthetic resins under pressure and heat.
Maximum water absorption should not exceed 3%, with a minimum density of 1.1. Hole diameters shall be drilled according to the related stud bolt diameter and/or external sleeve diameter.
The wood must have a resistance to axial compression not lower than:
* 400Kg/cm² parallel to the fibres.
* 600Kg/cm² perpendicular to the fibres.
The wood blocks shall be of vacuum impregnated fabrication and not by a surface treatment only.
Insulating Washer material shall be fibreglass – epoxy resin laminate. Insulators made of Celoron (Cotton fabric impregnated of synthetic resin) will be also valid.
The Vendor shall supply the following certificates as minimum:
* Quality and type of laminated compresses wood.
* Impregnation treatment process.
* Guaranteed values.
* Water absorption.
* Mechanical properties (tensile strength, compression strength, thermal properties)
* Check report
