To mitigate the risks associated with engaging independent contractors and to simultaneously create efficiencies in the engagement of all direct sourced labour hire, Queensland Rail will implement an agreement for the provision of specialist payroll services through an open tender process.
Queensland Rail has an established recruitment team which coordinates the engagement of nominated independent contractors and temporary labour hire including those sourced direct. The scope of this agreement pertains to the engagement of nominated independent contractors and temporary labour hire that have been sourced directly by Queensland Rail. The agreement does not include temporary labour hire sourced via our Recruitment Agency panel.
The scope of the agreement excludes all trade based, skilled and unskilled labour in addition to any labour primarily based on a construction site.
The initial term of the contract will be two (2) years with two (2) additional one (1) year extension options. Within the term of the contract there will be regular performance reviews.
There will be no guarantee on the frequency, volume or exclusivity of work within this agreement.
