Expression of Interest: Multi Purpose Taxi Place Leases

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Transport (DoT) is seeking applications from current Government Multi Purpose taxi plate lease holders for a new Five year Government Multi Purpose taxi plate lease.

Approximately two (2) Government Multi Purpose taxi plate leases are due to expire by 31 December 2015.

Applicants must:

* Currently hold of a Government Multi Purpose taxi plate lease expiring on or before 31 December 2015;
* Have held a Government Multi Purpose taxi plate lease for at least five (5) years;
* Currently hold a valid metropolitan taxi driver identification card;
* Currently hold a valid WA driver's licence endorsed with aT extension;
* Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident;
* Submit a letter of recommendation from their current Taxi Dispatch Service; and
* Give consent for DoT to request and use performance data collected by your Taxi Dispatch Service to evaluate your suitability to lease taxi plates.

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of certain historical performance as a driver, including:

* Experience;
* Compliance, complaint and payment history; and
* Performance metrics (number of jobs completed per hour, etc).
