The Broome North residential estate provides an exciting mix of new residential housing and business opportunities for up to 13,000 people. At its completion, Broome North will almost double Broome's permanent population.
Waranyjarri Estate is the first residential development in Broome North featuring a new primary school which opened in February 2015, a network of walking and cycle paths, parklands and open space where you can relax, have a picnic, or kick the footy around.
The future Waranyjarri Estate Local Centre is planned to become the estates central hub providing facilities to service and respond to the daily needs of the local community of up to 13,000 along with the broader local community of Broome.
The Local Centre will provide the day-to-day needs of local residents in terms of grocery shopping, dining, banking, retail shopping, child care, medical facilities and community events.
