Active Living – Introductory Fitness Class Instructors

⁠⁠⁠Council is inviting submissions from qualified fitness instructors wishing to be part of Council's Active Living Program 2015 - 2016.

Submissions close at 4.30pm Tuesday 12 May 2015.

Active Living is co-ordinated by Council for the community to take up recreational activities in a natural environment, with the intention that individuals will experience health and well-being benefits that will encourage positive lifestyle changes.

The Active Living program has been operating on Cairns Esplanade for the last 12 years, and in this time, it has seen huge growth in both the number of participants and the number of classes available. Council now looks to engage suppliers for the upcoming year.

It is intended that the successful respondents will instruct weekly introductory fitness class/es for the general public and through application of professional experience and expertise, will look to realise the potential of the location and program. New and innovative program submissions are encouraged.
