The current lease of the Yarrabah Community expires on 1 September, 2015. Expressions of interests are invited from interested parties for the Lease of the Yarrabah Community Store from this date.
Only serious offers will be considered. Offers for the lease will be assessed specifically against criteria for its intended usage:
* Detailed business and financial plan including insurances
* Clearly state the nature of the proposed commercial activity
* Demonstrate value to the community
* Demonstrate employment and training of local indigenous residents
* Provision of quality and moderately priced fruit & vegetables.
The lease will include the following - storage (cold and dry), office space, shelving (clod and dry), tills, food preparation area, compound, generator. The store is in a prime position and is the only general store in the shire.
