CCTV IP Upgrade - Supply of Cameras

⁠⁠⁠The Public Transport Authority (PTA) requires CCTV surveillance of many of its urban assets, including railway Stations, car parks, bus interchanges and other locations. The CCTV system forms part of the Urban Passenger Railway for which the PTA is the accredited Owner and Operator in terms of the Rail Safety Act, by the Rail Safety Regulator. The work involved in provision of a CCTV system includes both local and centralised monitoring facilities. The PTA CCTV network is comprised of approximately 1700 CCTV cameras and is maintained by an internal workforce of qualified Security Technicians.

The existing CCTV system is based on analogue cameras, connected via coaxial cables to a marshalling point and converted to digital signals for transmission back to the control (& recording) system. All new CCTV installations and upgrades to field equipment shall be designed using digital (IP) cameras and equipment connected via Cat5e cables.The contract is intended to provide the PTA with a reliable and cost effective supplier for IP CCTV cameras. The requirement of this tender is for the provision of goods only; there is no requirement for installation or technical support.
