Tender Description
Roads and Maritime Services is inviting Requests for Tender to supply and deliver glass beads to be used for line marking work across the state.
Roads and Maritime requires around 1,000 tonnes of glass beads a year for use on the state’s roads to improve safety. The successful tenderer will be responsible for manufacturing and delivering the products to Roads and Maritime depots at Grafton, Tamworth, Dubbo, Wagga Wagga and Hay.
RMS proposes to award one or more suppliers to fulfil the supply of glass beads in accordance with RMS QA specification 3353, for drop on application to road marking paint. The maximum contract term will be 5 years, consisting of a 3 year initial term, with 2 of 1 year extension periods.
