Sewer Smoke Testing and CCTV Condition Assessment

⁠⁠⁠The project will be split into two separate schedules as outlined below.

Schedule 1

Undertake CCTV surveying in Bundanoon catchments SPS-BU7 and SPS-BU8 for evidence of inflow and / or infiltration. The successful contractor will carry out a condition assessment of the selected sewer mains within the 2 catchments identified in Bundanoon, as outlined in clause 4.1. The inspection of the conduits is to be completed by CCTV camera in accordance with the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) Conduit Inspection Reporting Code of Australia. The computer software Wincan V8 shall be used to undertake video recording and defect coding of all inspected mains, as well as reporting on the condition of the sewer mains.

Schedule 2

Undertake smoke testing and house to house inspections of the sewer network in the East Bowral catchment. The East Bowral catchment consists of approximately 1350 properties. The smoke testing and inspections must be completed by approved methods which are to be outlined in the contractor’s methodology. This schedule will be a unit price contract with the contractor to provide a rate to inspect and test each property. Council may at any time reduce the inspection area to suit the available budget.
