Invitation to bid for Sewer Relining Works

Water Corporation’s sewer refurbishment program currently includes the refurbishment of approximately 32km of main and reticulation sewer in the Perth Metropolitan area and some regional areas over the next five years.

The scope of this program includes the relining of existing sewers, refurbishment of property connections, installation of parallel sewers, access chamber refurbishment as well as all necessary temporary and ancillary works.

We are seeking to enter into a three year preferred supplier agreement with a single sewer refurbishment contractor, with the possibility of extending the agreement for a further two years subject to satisfactory performance.

Bids are to be submitted on a lump sum basis for a defined package of work in the first financial year (2015-16) and on a schedule of rates basis for the nominal quantities anticipated in the following four financial years (2016-17 to 2019-20). The package of works for the 2015-16 financial year includes the refurbishment of approximately 4km of concrete sewers ranging in diameter from 300mm to 685mm.
