JBS Australia Pty Ltd operates an abattoir in Rockhampton. Drawing upon a local cattle herd of 6 million head, our Rockhampton facility produces a large range of grass fed beef products - from premium to manufacturing items. Our Rockhampton facility has a daily processing capacity of 700 cattle and employs more than 500 staff. JBS are seeking EOI to run the integrated Irrigation and Turf Grass / Hay Farm situated on site.

The successful applicant will have access to 50 hectares comprising of 13 established irrigation areas (previously used for Turf Grass production) and access to recycled water. Building and machinery on offer by previous lessee. Negotiated royalty payment to be determined.

Operations will need to be completed in accordance with JBS Environmental licence conditions. Further information can be obtained once EOI has been submitted. EOI submissions will be accepted up until 5pm Friday 1st May 2015.
