JBS Australia Pty Ltd operates an abattoir in Rockhampton. Drawing upon a local cattle herd of 6 million head, our Rockhampton facility produces a large range of grass fed beef products - from premium to manufacturing items. Our Rockhampton facility has a daily processing capacity of 700 cattle and employs more than 500 staff.

JBS are seeking EOI to run the integrated Composting operations on site. JBS currently undertakes composting activities as approved by regulatory bodies. JBS seeks to engage a third party to manage all fresh organic material(s) supplied to the site daily. Materials will be required to be managed in accordance with license conditions.

All composted product will be the responsibility of the third party to market and sell in accordance with best practice. Further information can be obtained once EOI has been submitted.
