Consultancy Services to Assist in the Recruitment of the Chief Executive Officer

⁠⁠⁠The Principal is seeking the services of a high calibre Executive Recruitment Consultant to assist in the appointment of a suitably qualified person to this strategic and important role.

The process will need to be conducted in line with the Local Government Operational Guidelines for appointing a Chief Executive Officer, the relevant sections of the Local Government Act, and the associated Regulations.

The preferred Consultant will act in the capacity of adviser; provide recruitment expertise on an as-needs basis and act as a member of the selection panel. The selection panel will conduct interviews with short-listed candidates, with the appointment of the successful candidate for the position to be made by the Council.

It is essential that the process meets agreed timeframes, necessitating adequate allocation of resources to the task.
