TasWater is seeking the services of an experienced engineering Consultant to prepare a Preliminary Design, constructability assessment and cost estimation for the Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) component of the Launceston Sewerage Improvement Project (LSIP). This includes a new Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at the existing Ti Tree Bend site (referred to as the new "Northern STP"), as well as consideration of probable requirements for the upgrade of the existing Ti Tree Bend STP to treat the Combined Drainage System (CDS) flows.
The purpose of the consultancy is to confirm the feasibility and constructability of the LSIP as well as to provide preliminary design drawings, documentation and risk based cost estimates (to A± 20%).
