Tender Description
Arts Queensland (AQ) seeks to engage a suitably experienced, qualified and resourced contractor to provide routine, periodic and additional Horticultural services at the Arts Queensland (AQ) owned Cultural Precinct – South Bank, in addition to the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts - Fortitude Valley and the Queensland Museum Hendra facility in accordance with the specifications.
The current arrangement expires on 30 June 2015, and the customer anticipates executing a contract with the successful offeror no later than Friday, 22 May 2015 for commencement 1 July 2015, with an initial Contract Term of three (3) years, and at the end of the initial Contract Term should the customer be satisfied with the contractors performance, the customer may at its sole discretion, invoke its’ option and invite the contractor to extend the contract for a further two (2) individual and consecutive periods of two (2) years to provide a total possible Contract Term of no more than seven (7) years.
Mandatory Requirements: Only offerors who have had representatives attend the full Mandatory Industry Briefing and subsequent site inspection held on the next business day will be eligible to submit an offer. Refer to Attachment A - Mandatory Industry Briefing Agenda and Session Timetable for full briefing/site inspection schedule and Attachment B – Cultural Precinct Training Room 48 - MIB meeting location map for meeting room in SLQ carpark.
Mandatory Industry Briefing (MIB): AQ will be hosting the Mandatory Industry Briefing and request attendance no later than 9.15am on Wednesday, 8 April 2015 (for a 9.30am start) at the Cultural Precinct Training Room 48, State Library of Queensland, Level 0, Car Park Level, Stanley Place Tunnel, South Brisbane QLD 4101. No late attendees will be admitted.
Important registration information: We request interested suppliers read the tender documents thoroughly prior to registering for the briefing and site inspection to ensure they:
* Have the required capacity and capability to appropriately resource the complex requirements of this tender; and
* Can comply with the briefing/site inspection requirements which is limited to two (2) representatives only at any one time during the scheduled activities, one (1) of which must be from the offering entity at all times.
We request that any entity wishing to attend, ensure they register their details promptly via the method indicated in Section 2.3.1 of the ITO Section 1-5 tender document.
