Tender Description
The DHL contractor shall possess the capability to manage the movement of over dimensional and heavy freight from identified inbound shipping terminals to storage depots close to ports and project sites. Project sites are located within the Bowen Basin, spanning north and south of Moranbah.
The contractor shall provide a selection of equipment and services that will include:
- up to 100 tonne-rated prime movers
- dollies
- low loaders (quad-axle, deck widening, extendable up to 26 metres)
- drop deck, flat top / extendable (up to 18 metre deck) trailers for miscellaneous freight
- Scheduling pilot vehicles / booking of necessary permits and police escorts.
Principal ports will be Mackay and Townsville with manufactured / assembled freight also expected from Brisbane.
