Tender Description
Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) seeks to engage the services of a professional consulting firm to undertake a closure and capping plan for the former Kootingal Landfill near Tamworth.
1.1 Objectives
The objectives of the proposed engagement are: Use of Ground Penetrating Radar (or similar technology) to determine the northern extent of the former landfill cell.
To design a landfill cap that meets the current NSW Landfill Guidelines and is deemed suitable for approval by the NSW EPA.
To prepare a Closure plan detailing the post closure monitoring and maintenance requirements.
