Power Supply Upgrade Program - D&C of Gosford South Substation and Wyoming Sectioning Hut (ROI)

⁠⁠⁠As part of the Power Supply Upgrade (PSU) Program, Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) invites Registrations of Interest (ROI) from organisations interested in undertaking the Design and Construction of Gosford South Substation and Wyoming Sectioning Hut.

The proposed works comprise the construction of a new Substation at Gosford South and a Sectioning Hut at Wyoming to replace the existing Gosford Substation. The Substation is proposed to be a 2 x 5MW rectifier 66kV substation to provide support to the 1500V traction power supply in the area.

TfNSW is exploring alternative delivery strategies within the Design and Construct context for the Project. Innovation in the provision of the design, equipment supply, fit out, testing and commissioning for the Substation and Sectioning Hut, including but not limited to alternative equipment solutions that may require type approval as part of the design process to meet the proposed performance specification and other construction methods, are encouraged. TfNSW encourages ROIs from applicants that may be from both the construction and equipment manufacturing industries.

TfNSW proposes to use a two stage tender process to invite applications for short-listing from suitably qualified organisations.
