The Department of Science, Information Technology, and Innovation (DSITI) is seeking a suitably qualified supplier to undertake a GITC review to answer the question: “What is the right contracting framework for ICT procurement for the Queensland Government?”

The objectives of the GITC review are to:

Recommend a simplified contracting framework, and associated policy and management frameworks which:

* Reduce the cost of doing business with government
* Retain adequate protection for contracting parties
* Reflect the future sourcing needs of Queensland government

Maintain momentum for implementation by:

* Identifying early wins which can be implemented concurrently with the review
* Building a compelling rationale for change (business case) for implementation of the review recommendations
