Expressions of Interest Lease of Wayatinah Store and Tavern

⁠⁠⁠Hydro Tasmania is looking for a new lessee for the Wayatinah Store and Tavern.

Wayatinah is a small village located in the central highlands of Tasmania, between Ouse and Tarraleah, approximately 1.5 hours’ drive from Hobart.

There is a caravan park located nearby (separately managed), which provides a base from which visitors can explore the area, including Tasmania’s highland lakes.

Hydro Tasmania maintains housing in the Wayatinah Village to accommodate its employees and contractors accessing the Liapootah Power Station and nearby locations.

Interested parties will need to demonstrate their ability to manage the commercial operation of a small business in a remote location.
