Tender Description

The NSW Office of Preventive Health is seeking to engage an Aboriginal run organisation or an organisation with significant Aboriginal representation to review and adapt the Go4Fun program for delivery with Aboriginal communities in NSW.

The Aboriginal community is affected disproportionately by chronic diseases. The Go4Fun program is a healthy lifestyle program targeting 7-13 year old children whose weight is above a healthy range and their families. The program consists of 10 weekly small group sessions which children and a family member attend.

The NSW Office of Preventive Health intends to make the Go4Fun program more accessible to Aboriginal communities in NSW, therefore it is important that the program is reviewed for appropriateness for delivery with Aboriginal communities, adapted to ensure it is acceptable to Aboriginal communities and flexible enough for delivery to Aboriginal communities across NSW.
