Supply and Delivery of Anodes and Cables for Cathodic Protection System at Ben Anderson Barrage

⁠⁠⁠SunWater is seeking Offers for Supply and delivery of Anodes and Cables for for Cathodic Protection System at Ben Anderson Barrage

The scope of the goods is as follows:

* Supply of 14 Silicon-Chromium-Iron anodes (75 mm diameter x 1500 mm long) complete with 6 metre long 16 mm2 poly/nylon/poly cable tails as listed in supply schedule for cables and anodes contained in Appendix B
* Supply of 26 Silicon-Chromium-Iron anodes (75 mm diameter x 1500 mm long) complete with 9 metre long 16 mm2 poly/nylon/poly cable tails as listed in supply schedule for cables and anodes contained in Appendix B
* Supply of 10 mm2 single core copper cable PVC/PVC as listed in supply schedule for cables and anodes contained in Appendix B
* Supply of 16 mm2 single core copper cable XLPE/PVC as listed in supply schedule for cables and anodes contained in Appendix B
* Supply of 25 mm2 single core copper cable XLPE/PVC as listed in supply schedule for cables and anodes contained in Appendix B
* Supply of 35 mm2 single core copper cable XLPE/PVC as listed in supply schedule for cables and anodes contained in Appendix B
* Supply of 70 mm2 single core copper cable XLPE/PVC as listed in supply schedule for cables and anodes contained in Appendix B
* Supply of 90 mm2 single core copper cable XLPE/PVC as listed in supply schedule for cables and anodes contained in Appendix B
* Delivery and unloading of anodes and cables to SunWater’s storage warehouse at 34 Enterprise Street Bundaberg.

For details of the upstream anodes refer to drawing J4187-DWG-018 in Appendix C. For details of the centre anodes refer to drawing J4187-DWG-004 in Appendix C. Notes that the supplied anodes will be joined to the main cables by completing approved joints in the field.

STANDARDS

The Silicon-Chromium-Iron anodes are to contain 14.5 % Silicon, 4.5 % Chromium, 0.95 % Carbon and 0.75 % Manganese. The PVC/PVC cables are to fabricated in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 5000.2 and the XLPE/PVC cables are to fabricated in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 5000.1.
