Expressions of Interest Sale of Council Land

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking expressions of interest for the purchase of a parcel of land in Currajong Street, Evans Head, as a single development site in its current state. This land will require substantial fill and is currently not serviced; these costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and would be required for any subdivision approval.

The parcel of land has current development application and Heritage Office approval for 24 residential blocks. The approved blocks are as follows:

Lot 1 – 600m2

Lot 3 – 600.3m2
Lot 4 – 600.3m2
Lot 5 – 600.2m2
Lot 6 – 600.1m2
Lot 7 – 600m2
Lot 8 – 628.6m2

Lot 14 – 600m2

Lot 21 – 639.4m2
Lot 22 – 639.4m2

Alterations to currently approved blocks can be achieved with approval from both Council and the Heritage Office.

Closing date: The closing date for expressions of interest is 2pm, 18 March 2015.

Acceptance of expression of interest Council reserves the right to either accept or reject any expression of interest received.
