Hire - Smooth Drum Roller

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking quotations for the hire of a smooth drum roller, (approx 17Tonne) for approximately three months flood damage restoration works on remote locations along the Donohue Highway and Urandangie Roads.

The hire cost is to include a multi skilled operator who is prepared to operate other machinery or undertake other duties when required to be on site and not operating roller.

Price to include site camp and operator with quotations for roller wet hire rate, operator only and standby rate on an Hourly and weekly basis. Contractors currently work 10 days on, four days off, although the roster may vary during the course of operations.

It is anticipated that the Council would provide the contractor with a work program on a fortnightly basis and so the cost should include establishment and relocation during the hire period.

Quotations endorsed `Quotation Smooth Drum roller' close at 4.00 pm on Friday 27th February, at the office of Boulia Shire Council.
