Preparation of Non-Residential Electoral Roll Register

⁠⁠⁠The Council of the City of Sydney ("Council") invites expressions of interest for the carrying out of work required to prepare the register of eligible non-residential voters and the non-residential rolls of voters for the City of Sydney local government election in September 2016.

The work needed to create the register and rolls for the 2016 election will include:

* Identifying people eligible to vote as assessed against the eligibility criteria in in the City of Sydney Amendment (Elections) Act 2015 and the City of Sydney Act 1988.
* Obtaining and verifying eligible people's details
* Creating a register of eligible voters
* Writing or otherwise communicating with people identified on the register as eligible to confirm their eligibility
* Creating the rolls of eligible voters
* Keeping the register and rolls up to date
* Including in the methodology mechanisms for ensuring that ineligible people are not included on the register and rolls and that where eligible people cease to be eligible they are removed from the register and rolls
* Including in the methodology mechanisms for validating the information received and testing the accuracy of the register and rolls.
