Belt Magnet

⁠⁠⁠The new conveyors use 2,200mm wide belting for the in-loading conveyors rated at 9,000tph and 2,400mm wide belting for the out-loading conveyors rated at 10,000tph.

The in-loading and out- loading conveyor include a tramp magnet at the discharge points. The tramp magnet is installed to remove ferrous metal that is picked up during the in-loading and out-loading operation to prevent damage to the system.

The scope of Tramp Magnet Package will include design, supply of Tramp Magnet including all relevant accessories including but not limited to:
1. Tramp Magnet as per the requirement in table below.
2. Fabrication and supply of all structural components including all surface preparation, surface treatment and protective coatings.
3. Adjustable suspension chains and turnbuckles
4. Motorised trolley with catenary cable
5. Heat exchanger/ magnet cooling system (If Required)
6. Transformer/ Rectifier power conversion panel for mounting outdoor near the magnet
7. Electrical cabling in accordance to the specification which will be provided in the tender package
8. Functional specification document
9. Spares
10. Provision of qualified personnel for assistance with installation, supervision and commissioning, if requested
11. Lifting procedure
12. Transport and delivery of all items to the project site.
13. All necessary documentation including drawings, manuals, specifications, manufacturing records, shop testing records, installation procedures, operating procedures, commissioning information, maintenance schedules, spare parts lists etc
