Dungog Water Treatment Plant PLC Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠Dungog WTP was installed and commissioned in the late 80's. The original SY/Max PLC control equipment is still in operation today and needs to be replaced.

The criticality of the PLC in maintaining acceptable drinking water quality at Dungog water Treatment Plant cannot be understated. Without the PLC, the plant cannot operate, and bypassing of unfiltered raw water will occur. This scenario poses a potential risk to public health.

This contract involves the upgrade of the PLC at Dungog Water Treatment Plant. The scope under the contract includes but is not limited to:

Removal of the existing PLC system and the installation of a Schneider Quantum PLC system.

Programming of new PLC system and updating the existing SCADA system.

All other work electrical and automation work as necessary to provide reliable operation of the plant with the new control system.
