Tender Description
The Department of Transport (DoT) is seeking applications from current Government Peak Period taxi plate lease holders to apply for a new 5-year Government Peak Period taxi plate lease.
Approximately 5 Government Peak Period taxi plate leases are due to expire by 30 June 2015.
Applicants must:
* Hold of a Government Peak Period taxi plate lease expiring on or before 30 June 2015;
* Have held a Government Peak Period taxi plate lease for at least five years;
* Hold a valid metropolitan taxi driver identification card;
* Hold a valid WA driver's licence endorsed with a T extension;
* Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident;
* Submit a letter of recommendation from their current Taxi Dispatch Service; and
* Give consent for DoT to request and use performance data collected by your Taxi Dispatch Service to evaluate your suitability to lease taxi plates.
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of certain historical performance as a driver, including:
* Experience;
* Compliance, complaint and payment history; and
* Performance metrics (number of jobs completed per hour, etc).
