Supply and Installation of Digester Wear Bars and Surface Treatments

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from suitably experienced and qualified mechanical engineering and surface treatment contractors to supply and install wear bars and surface treatments on rotating digesters at SMRC’s waste composting facility located in Bannister Road, Canning Vale.

Tenderers may but are not obliged to tender on both the surface treatment and mechanical works.

The works will include:

Polyurea surface treatment scope
* Surface preparation; and
* Application of Polyurea surface treatments.

Mechanical supply and installation scope
* Surface preparation and digester jacking wroks;
* Supply and installation of digester wear bars;
* Supply and installation of digester end wall and annulus; and
* Supply and installation of UC sections for digester strengthening.

A non-compulsory site inspection and briefing will be held on site at 1.30pm Tuesday 3 February and tenderers must register their intention to attend.

Tenders submitted shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked - “Request for Tender SMRC 2015/01 – Supply and installation of digester wear bars and surface treatments” and lodged in the tender box at the SMRC offices not later than 2.00pm Tuesday 10 February 2015.

Late tenders will not be considered. Canvassing of Councillors or officers may invalidate the Tender.
