Expressions of Interest Used Plastic Pontoons

⁠⁠⁠Whitsunday Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the sale or disposal of up to 30 plastic pontoons (a mixture of 2 metre and 3 metre length pontoons).

The pontoons are in varying condition and Council is seeking monetary offers for the pontoons in good condition and seeking Expressions of Interest for the removal of the pontoons in a poor condition. Most if not all the pontoon fittings and fixtures are no longer available. Any expression of interest must indicate the specific purpose and location where the pontoons are to be taken.

The pontoons were previously used as a floating boat ramp/pontoon area at the VMR boat ramp at Whisper Bay, Cannonvale prior to being damaged by a severe weather event.

Council does not warrant the condition of the pontoons or that the pontoons will be able to be re-used.

Council is organising an inspection of the pontoons on Thursday 15th January 2015.
