The intended purpose of this tender is to enter into an agreement with a Service Provider to supply:

* Static security, guarding and reception services to CrimTrac for an initial term of two (2) years with two (2) options to extend the term by a further term of one (1) year. These services will take place at CrimTrac’s primary place of business (currently 496 Northbourne Avenue Dickson ACT 2602) (the premises) for 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

* Ad-hoc guarding services (which may be static or mobile) on an ‘as required’ basis at the premises and other sites in the Australian Capital Territory including but not limited to: 54 Sheppard Street, Hume; 470 Northbourne Avenue, Dickson; and 103-105 Northbourne Avenue, Canberra.

The intended outcome of this tender is the engagement of a high quality service provider that will assist CrimTrac meet its obligations under the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) for the protection of people, information and other official assets.

Effective security, guarding and reception services assist CrimTrac in ensuring the appropriate level of physical security to protect its employees, visitors, information and other assets from harm. Guards and patrols will help control access to the agency’s facilities, information and physical assets, maintain accreditation of security zones, and respond appropriately to emergencies and increased threat situations.
