Tender Description
Ausgrid invites companies capable of completing remediation works at Mascot Zone substation including:
Concrete roadway, CFA piling, structural pinning of masonry walls, grout injection of Tx bay footings, transformer bay and switchroom slabs, demolish and reinstate fence, demolish and rebuild masonry wall at Mascot Zone Substation.
The site is an operating live substation with construction work to be undertaken near live infrastructure including operating transformers.
A mandatory Pre-Tender Meeting will be held at site on 25 November 2014 at 10.30 am.
Respondents must satisfy the following mandatory criteria:
* attendance at the pre-tender meeting
* tender submitted on time
* respondents' WHS system must be accredited to AS4801
* submission details on the Part D Schedules
* provide evidence of a minimum of three (3) examples of civil construction work undertaken inside live substations, worth over $300,000 per project in the last 5 years
