Tender Description
Parramatta City Council invites suitably experienced artists, designers or curators or teams of any nationality and place of residence for this tender to develop, design and deliver site specific public art work or multiple works of art for the suburbs of Granville and Westmead.
Options in the brief:
a) Granville and or
b) Westmead, may be tendered for separately, or together.
Artists may propose:
Submit options a) or b) or both elements,
* Artworks that are across any material, media or artwork formats,
* Single or multiple works,
* Static or kinetic works,
* Wayfinding or interpretive work.
Technology based, new media works - analogue and digital technologies, responsive, powered, networked, sound or video motion based.
In addition to the proposed artwork, proposals can also include master planning components, design and curatorial rationale or themes for the precinct areas.
The Tender is a Schedule of Rates Contract.
The period of the tender is for one (1) year. Continuance of the tender for the initial and subsequent periods will be reliant on ongoing reliability and satisfactory performance which will be subject to quarterly review.
