NSW Trade and Investment - Crown Lands (Lands) wishes to dredge the navigation channel at Terranora Inlet. The final design is prepared on the basis of the hydrosurvey carried out in October, 2014. Normal estuary processes and may have changed bed conditions since that date, so a pre-dredge survey will be required as part of this contract.

Maintenance dredging Terranora Inlet last occurred in 2009. During that campaign a cutter suction dredge transferred sand via pipeline to nourish erosion on the bank of Ebeneza Park off Keith Compton Drive.

It is proposed dewatering will occur at the same location in a similar fashion but further transportation is reqyuired to nourish the southern end of Kingscliff Beach.
