Hurlstone Agricultural High School Catering Service

Hurlstone Agricultural High School (HAHS) is an academically selective High School located in the South Western Sydney suburb of Glenfield. It is also one of three public Agricultural High Schools in NSW that offer students the option to board (live) on site.

The Boarding School also offers accommodation for parents and community groups at times throughout the year. This could see the requirement to cater for approximately 300 meals. The current boarding numbers is 88 for 2014 however this may increase to approximately 180 over the next year or two.

One of the requirements of the boarding facility is to provide food to both the students that live on site and to the Residential Supervisors that supervise the boarders. The existing department workforce that provides catering service was established a long time ago and when there were over 300 boarding students.
