Aviation Rescue & Fire Fighting (ARFF) Internal Access Vehicles

Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) are currently providing Category 10 level of service to Brisbane Airport due to the larger Airbus A380 and Boeing 747 aircraft landing at the aerodrome and Perth Airport is scheduled for Category 10 upgrade. In order to service these larger aircraft, including the upper decks, the use of an aerial access vehicle is required due to the height requirements otherwise these aircraft are inaccessible.

Airservices is seeking an Internal Access Vehicle solution/ s to implement at Airports across Australia where a Category 10 level of service is required for the larger Airbus A380 and Boeing 747 aircraft. The vehicles are to comply with all necessary relevant regulatory requirements, including those promulgated by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and the Australian Design Rules (ADR).
