Council is seeking an EOI from individuals or organisations with the capacity and experience to operate the commercial kitchen under a lease at the Byron Regional Sport and Cultural Complex (BRSCC) for a period of 2 years.

The EOI is not limited to an identified use of the commercial kitchen and applicants are invited to submit the EOI with their proposed use. Council is open to consider a variety of potential operations including catering services and/or a cafe service.

It is anticipated that applicants acknowledge in their submissions that the BRSCC site offers a quality commercial kitchen, and a large potential client base for the Lessee to draw upon during their operations, and that there is suitable financial benefit for Council and the operator.

Council will assess the expressions of interest and then negotiate with the selected applicant to formalise the specified operations, remuneration and conditions of the lease agreement.

A compulsory site inspection will be held at the BRSCC on Friday 7 November 2014.
