Council invites tenders from suitably qualified organisations for the provision of metal fabrication and structural steel constructions.

Council may choose to select a panel of organisations for these services. Tenderers must be able to provide both services.

CURRENT SITUATION

Council has a current contract for welding services that is due to expire. The current services required under the contract have included fabrication and installation of window and door grills, hand rails, locking plates, miscellaneous brackets, trolleys on-site reactive maintenance to park gates, doors, hinges and cages and drain grates at Council sites including:

* Council's Administration building
* Art Centre
* Early Learning centres
* Halls
* Libraries
* Neighbourhood centres
* Parks, reserves and amenities.
* Sports stadium and athletics complex
* Swimming and leisure centres
* Youth centres
* Other Council properties
