Transport Access Program (TAP) - Briefing for Registration of Interest (ROI) on Thursday 31 July 2014
The Transport Projects Division of Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) invites Registrations of Interest (ROI) from contracting organisations having the financial and organisational capacity to undertake Design and Construction of station projects in the live rail environment, under the Rail Safety National Law 2012 (NSW) or a similar regulatory regime.
This invitation relates to a number of station projects in the Sydney greater metropolitan area. TfNSW's intention is that there will be two contract packages, with each package consisting of a number of station projects. The total contract value of each package could be in the order of $60M.
To be considered for the Short-list(s), Applicants, which may be a joint venture, must be able to demonstrate satisfaction of minimum requirements which are likely to include the following:
1. Minimum Requirement 1 – The Applicant has achieved a turnover in construction contracting activities greater than $100 million per annum for each of the last 3 years. If the Applicant is a joint venture, this turnover amount is required to apply to at least one Participant.
2. Minimum Requirement 2 – The Applicant, or the Applicant’s proposed subcontractor, has within the last five years, undertaken not less than two railway station upgrade projects. The projects must have been within live operating rail corridors and include the installation of lifts, with each project involving management of the design, supply, construction, commissioning and handover of the project.
