Fremantle Cemetery - Construction of Pavilion, Cafe and Landscaping Works

The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced registered builders with particular experience in high quality construction to undertake the construction of new building works and the modification of existing landscaping and paving at the Fremantle Cemetery on the corner of Carrington Street and Sainsbury Road, Palmyra.

Builders who are registered with the BMW Builder's Pre-Qualification Scheme for Non-Residential Building Works Contracts (Levels 3, 4 and 5) are eligible to submit a tender.

The works comprise:

* A new waiting pavilion
* A new café
* Replacement of existing paving
* Landscaping and reticulation
* Upgrade of lighting

Tender documents (in electronic format) will be available from 2.00pm on Monday 09th June 2014 from the offices of Walter Hunter & Penny Watson Architects, 43 Broadway, Nedlands WA 6009. Technical information on the project is available from the architect, Penny Watson on (08) 9386 5666.

Tenders must be placed in a sealed envelope marked "Tender No. MCB2614 - Fremantle Cemetery PCL Project" and lodged at the offices of Walter Hunter & Penny Watson Architects. Tenders submitted by electronic mail or facsimile will not be accepted. Tenderers will be required to provide a written submission to address a number of assessment criteria as well as the tender price.

There will be a mandatory site inspection at 10.00am on Monday 16th June 2014.
